What’s inside? & What should it do?

This balm should be a basic care for dry to very dry skin prone to itchyness, for treating the skin with dermatitis and eczema. Anti-scratching, soothing, restoring skin microbiome and barrier.

Dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, neurodermatitis or simply eczema – it’s a condition of the skin when it gets dry to very dry, becomes itchy, cracky, red, quick irritated from such factors like heat, weather, spicy food, allergens and so on.

Dermatitis should be treated with special care which includes soothing, moisturising and barrier restoring ingredients like: niacinamode, moisturisers (hyaluronic acid, glycerine), ceramides, Omega acids. And exclude definite irritants usually found in cosmetics: colourants, perfumes, essential oils, alcohol, plant extracts known to be natural allergens and so on. You know, the monster-ingredient of every skin-junkie…

SILICONEEEEEE

…can also be very helpful, because it veils the skin with a thin film and prohibits „bad partikles“ to penetrate the skin and cause uncomfortable reactions.
The skin gets „crazy“, because the skin barrier is weak or defect and needs to be restored. And when the skinbarrier is defect, so definitely is defect the microbiome of the skin, say „the good bacteria“ and needs to be restored too.

La Roche-Posay claims this balm is made with an innovative technologie called AP+M [ Aqua Posae + Microresyl ], which restores the microbiome and the skin balance again. With what? With the help of the triple system and they are:

Niacinamide with its relieving and calming properties
Microresyl – stops the spread of „bad bacteria“
Aqua Posea Filiformis (according to the brand – thermal spring water with anti-irritation properties)- supports the growth of „good bacteria“

How did it work for me?

First of all, I have to say that I’ve been struggling since years with dermatitis-like eczema on my hands, caused by my own carelessness when it came to using home cleansers and washing substances without protecting gloves. (So, guys, don’t be silly and take care of your health from aggressive cleansing stuffs.). My skin got deeply red, extremely dry and cracky. So, I look for special care in the pharmacy and was really glad as I got this little sample.
First of all, I like its wonderful moisturising and calming feeling it gives immediately after application. They say the absorbtion is quick, but for me it wasn’t. Takes time to absorb. Plus, applied thick leaves a fatty film, which for me isn’t a drawback at all, but better apply thinner or put smth dark on to avoid spots on clothes.

As to its effect, I’m really excited:
– moisturises very well
– smoothes the skin to silk. Yes, really, because of this I started to use it for my neck and chest
– calms irritations in no time
– by frequent usage removes all the redness.

Big LIKE!

Conclusion

It seems to be I finally found a perfect remedy for treating the eczema on my hands. Bit I’m going to use it for the whole body too.
I haven’t used it on my face, because it contains shea butter and my combo skin felt it hard to get friends with in the past.

After a couple of times using this little sample of a wonder balm, I ran to the pharmacy next to my place

and got me the full size. YEAHHHHHHH!!!!!

Recommend for everyone. Not specially cheap, but it’s definitely worth its money.

Merci beaucoup La Roche-Posay! 🙂
